Service Description
Not every architect makes physical models. Serguei does, and for projects where it matters, there is nothing that replaces them.
A physical model communicates what drawings and renders cannot: the actual volume of a space, the relationship between parts of a building, the way a structure sits in its setting. You can hold it, turn it, look at it from any angle. It makes the architecture real before a single foundation is poured.

When a Physical Model Makes the Difference
For straightforward projects, drawings and 3D renders are enough. But for buildings with complex forms, unconventional geometry, or ambitious spatial ideas, a physical model is the most reliable way to test the design and communicate it clearly.
Serguei has been making architectural models throughout his career. It is not a service offered by every architect, and that is precisely why it matters: when a project is genuinely complex, the model is often where the design is resolved, not just presented.
What a Model Delivers
A physical model gives you something no screen can replicate. You can walk around it, look at it from eye level, hold it in your hands. The scale makes the building comprehensible in a way that plans and elevations do not. For clients making significant decisions about significant projects, that comprehension is worth a great deal.
- Physical models for complex or distinctive buildings
- Design verification: problems visible in 3D before construction begins
- Client presentation: clearer than drawings alone
- Handcrafted to project-specific scale and detail requirements
